Intimacy with God
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” ~2 Corinthians 13:14 AMP
Most of us have a busy lifestyle which we bring as an excuse for not fellowshipping with the Lord; but that won’t quench the desire our soul has for the creator. The void in us can only be filled when we spend quality time under the feet of Jesus.
When Jesus was walking on earth, he had friends named Martha, Mary and Lazarus. Martha and Mary were sisters but the action they took when Jesus came was different. Martha was busy for Jesus, preparing His meals and doing a lot to serve Him; while Mary was busy with Jesus, she was sitting under His feet, fellowshipping with Him. Martha was angry by this and said to Jesus “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part. But the Lord replied to her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.” ~Luke 10:40-42 AMP.
The Lord wants you to first fellowship with Him before you start ministering Him. He wants you to be busy with Him before you are busy for Him. You should make your fellowship with the Lord your priority in life.
