Seek God
“And you shall seek me, and find [me], when you shall search for me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13
God is nearer than our own breath, but He still wants us to seek His face to know how much we value His presence in our life. There are Christians who seek the things that come out of His hand, which they will eventually get and there are few among many, who seek the face of the Lord with all their hearts - those are the ones who will find him!
We all say we seek God, but God is focused on our heart more than what we say. In the book of Samuel, Prophet Samuel went to the house of Jesse to anoint the future king of Israel. When he saw Eliab he thought he would be the king; but God said to him, “Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD sees] not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” ~1Samuel 16:7.
If you want to know what you love and value the most with all your heart, look into the things you give much of your time and money to. Your heart lies on the thing you spend your time and money the most. For you to have manifested presence of the Lord abundantly, you should make God your necessity not extra; If you love him with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength, you will find God.
