The Purpose of God

“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope.” –AMP Jeremiah 29:11

God has imprinted his plan for each one of us in our spirits so that we could implement it here on earth. From the view point of God, a successful person is a person who has discovered his/her purpose and carries out the specific assignment that God assigned him/her.

God is speaking to us here in this verse because he has a unique plan in our life which gives us a bright future and hope as a result. But many people do not know their purpose, that’s why we see them trying to copy other people’s assignment and start comparing themselves with others which will ultimately lead them to a life of discouragement and disappointment. It is better for us to live the right purpose that will stand than to live the wrong purpose and fail. That’s why proverb 19:21 says, “Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the LORD’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out).” –AMP.

You are born for a unique purpose that would be carried out by only by you. Don’t waste the rest of your life by living the dreams of others without discovering yours, because that will be the greatest mistake that you will ever make. You will only become joyful if you are living the purpose that God has imprinted in your spirit. If you discover your purpose, you got 90% of the answer for your questions in life and the rest 10% will be answered when you start to live the plan that God has for you.

Meditate the Word

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” –AMP Isaiah 55:9,
