Prayer Principles
“And when you pray, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.”
Matthew 6:7
People all around the world pray to God and many think that they will be heard when they remind God of their problems repeatedly. But there is nothing God knows after we tell Him, because God knows what we need before we ask him. God is a God of principle; if we don’t follow the principle of prayer, we can even attract bad things to happen in our life rather than receiving good things from God.
Effective prayer pulls the tremendous power of Heaven to Earth. Through prayer, the supernatural becomes natural. The Bible says in James 5:16, “The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God –it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” Praying the right way means praying in the spirit.
You should always remember that prayer is not about praying in a fluent language to attract the attention of God. God doesn’t listen to your language, He listens your spirit. Prayer is touching God in the Spirit.
